[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] Where do I get the clarkson packet drivers?

schanin@oracle.com (Steve Chanin) (03/13/91)

I have a Compaq with a 3c503 card. I'd like to snag a copy of
the clarkson packet driver for 3c503s so I can run WinQVT/Net. Does
anyone know an ftp site which has the current versions of the packet
drivers? Ftp access is difficult for me (oracle is uptight about
security), but I can get files if I know exactly what machine they are
on and the complete path to them (because I need to tell the
datacenter to log into machine xxx and retrieve the file
/pub/.../.../yyy for me, since they won't let me do it myself). I'd
appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Steve

P.S. - In addition to the driver, I'd also like to get copies of any
documentation that goes with the clarkson stuff, so if you know where
that would be, I'd appreciate the complete path as well.

Sheesh! What good does it do to be on the Internet if you can't use it???
Tell them to get sun.soe.clarkson.edu:pub/ka9q/driverss.zip in binary mode.
