[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] NCSA & packet driver solution

vogt@udecc.engr.udayton.edu (Staff- Tim J Vogt) (03/20/91)

Thanks to all who responded. We were able to get the packet driver
working with NCSA Telnet by making one simple change: using the keyword
"ioaddr" instead of "interrupt" to specify the software interrupt number in
config.tel. I could not find any reference to this in the documentation for
NCSA. We have the version 2.2 docs. and the updates for the most recent beta
release. Hopefully there will be more about packet drivers in the docs
of the next full release, so others don't have to deal with the same problem.
