[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] Running packet driver apps with Sun's PC-NFS

bushell@FOX.NSTN.NS.CA (03/27/91)

Does anyone know how to run a packet driver based application
(specifically, University of Minnesota's Popmail) with Sun's PC-NFS
package? One of the people here thought he saw some mention of
doing this a while back.

If you can respond, the more detail the better. Copies of
autoexec.bat and config.sys files, where to obtain software, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Oh sigh. What you want to do simply cannot be done. That would be
running *two* TCP/IP stacks in the same machine at the same time.
Chaos. It sounds like what you want is a POP client for Sun's PC-NFS.
