[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] CUTCP will not work with 3c523 packet driver

DMPM@DUKEMC.BITNET (James Dryfoos- PostMaster) (04/05/91)

The following shows the loading of the 3c523 packet version 9.1
which works fine. After loading I can run the NCSA package.
However, I find I cannot run the CUTCP package which I do run
on the 3c503 (so I know it works). Any ideas?
I also include attempted startup of CUTCP telbin.
What is "Requested packet class does not match driver class" telling me?

Thanks, Jim Dryfoos

Packet driver is at segment 1718
TDR: Ok
Interrupt number 0x3 (3)
I/O port 0x300 (768)
Memory address 0xC000 (49152)
My Ethernet address is 02:60:8C:1B:61:EA

I am getting an identical error trying to use a turbo DEPCA board with CUTCP.
If anyone has any ideas why James' problem is happening let me know too please.

Thanks,
Gavin...
