Greetings. We have a transputer root card and its cube of transputers. The card is ISA. I would like to put KA9Q on the PC to handle requests for the card from unix hosts, onto which will be ported the compilers etc. The purpose is that at the moment people must physically move themselves to the PC, and drive MSDOS. They are mac or unix users, and this is inconvenient as they like to work in their offices. It also means that the valuable system can be securely locked away in a comfortable environment. Questions : Is KA9Q suitable for this task ? What alternatives are there ? I have ftp'ed the ka9q stuff, but there seems to be little in the way of documentation amongst it. Also programming interface for the Clarkson ? packet driver system too. Has anyone tried this approach before ? Any comments gratefully accepted. Many Thanks, Michael -- | Michael Harlow | u855203@probitas.cs.utas.edu.au | GPO Box 1201, | | Hobart, 7001 | Computer Science Department | Tasmania, Australia | University Of Tasmania
