[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] Installing ka9q/nos as a router on a 386 PC

opschk@GANGES.UCOP.EDU (04/16/91)

Thanks for Tony and Milton for their answers so far. More clarifications
on what I am doing:
The 386 PC running DOS 4.0 is supposed to become a router between 2 subnetworks.
I successfully installed the wd8003 card ( I had to change 1 jumper Configurati-
on and not execute dignose ). I currently start the card in autoexec.bat
with: wd8003e 0x65 -o 0x200 0xd000
ethdrv ( This loads the card driver for FTP, I believe I'll have to
		remove it for ka9q/nos ).
I created a ka9q directory in which I put net.exe, I have the following
directory structure:
c:\ka9q, c:\ka9q\spool, c:\ka9q\spool\help, c:\ka9q\spool\mail,
c:\ka9q\spool\mqueue, c:\ka9q\spool\rqueue, c:\ka9q\spool\news .

Let's say I get the appropriate IP adresses, how do I start net now,
how do I build autoexec.net ? sample autoexec.net's appreciated .

Also I have to remove ethdrv from autoecex.bat right ?

		Many Thanks in Advance
