I just got through reading an analysis of ATT's 7300 UNIX PC. It looks like a pretty decent machine. It doesn't sound like its windowing abilities and resources are as good as the macs. However, it does give us a standard Mouse-window-icon interface for UNIX!!! It seems to be that any ambitious folk out there could write a terminal package for the mac which when hooked up to a unix machine would give the user essentially the same environment as the PC 7300, thus givin us the best of both worlds.
