[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] soss without pc/ip

tkevans@oss670.UUCP (Tim Evans) (04/24/91)

(I misposted this question yesterday to comp.protocols.tcp-ip;
sorry.)

According to rand@chinet.chi.il.us (Randy Suess), the soss NFS
server can be run without the MIT PC/IP package, by entering
only the machine's IP address in netdev.sys with 'custom.exe'.

I've tried this, but when I try to start soss, I get a message
about a missing file 'netcust'. (NOTE: 'netCUST' not 'netDEV')

Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks.
