Does anyone know where I can get hold of source for an Int 14 redirector. I need to mod one to work over our OSI protocol stack under windows. -- roger@bj.co.uk (UK only) roger@boldon-james-limited.co.uk (Internet) ..!mcsun!ukc!pyrltd!bjcong!roger

Roger, you can grab the source to COMTCP, which is an INT 14 redirector for the DOSIP code, via anonymous ftp from info.umd.edu:/pub/pc/dosip/cmtcpsrc.exe. This is a self-extracting ZIP archive. It uses a BSDish socket interface for network access. You won't be able to run it without the rest of DOSIP, but you can look at the source. Joe Herman U. of Maryland dzoey@terminus.umd.edu

What is DOSIP? When I ftp'd to info.umd.edu, the source there seemed to require something additional to make it work. Is this a commercial offering? Frankly, I was hoping to find another set of network libraries to build PC networking apps on. If the source is based on sockets then they might work with the socket library found on sunee.uwaterloo.ca in the /pub/wattcp directory. The library has been compiled with Turbo C 2.x. With some luck it could work with TC++. The example applications on sunee looks good (amongst other an int14 redirector). -- // Tarjei T.
