[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] TCP/IP/Novell/terminal emulator

jrd@cc.usu.edu (05/02/91)

Todd (and other interested parties),
I don't know what WIN/TCP uses for their Int 14h hook to permit
external terminal emulators. There are a bunch of flavors all using Int 14h
different ways. I put almost all of these I had docs on into MS-DOS Kermit
version 3.10. So if you have a much older version of Kermit I'd suggest
grabbing the current one from the Columbia Univ archives (watsun.cc.columbia.
edu, anon ftp, directory kermit/a) and grab the current patch file msr310.pch
while there. In Kermit try SET PORT ? to see the choices.
Someone with Procomm or other commercial emulator with lan support
should chime on on the subject.
