In the UK Academic community there is a suite of programs which run over X.25. There is a software interface definition for it. Two Manufacturers produce cards with this software driver (Seel in Edinburgh(Scotland) and Netcomm) If you want the spec of this interface I'll see if i can send it you, as I don't think it is quite in the public domain (though not owned by either of the companies that provide drivers ) Richard

There exist at least one Packet Driver (Frontier Technologies) and one Protocol Stack (the X25DRV kernel we ship with "generic" PC/TCP) which handle Class 13 - X.25. Class 13 will get explained much better in v1.10 of the spec, which I hope to have out in 30 days or so - note that it is only defined for IP-over-X.25 at the moment; if people are interested in working on XXX-over-X.25, let me know. Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your quick reply. I certainly would like to have the specifications. Do you have practical experiences of IP. over X.25 at Janet or at your site ? Best wishes: Istvan Tetenyi
