Thanks for the information! Although this is not of use to the
original poster, others might find it helpful, so I guess I'll 
add some more:

For packages that support the IBM Token Ring ASI (aka the LAN Support
program) directly, you can take a few steps out of this. Most network
software, TCP/IP or otherwise (off the top of my head, I know our
PC/TCP, UMD's TCP/IP, Netware and Banyan Vines, and I'm certain there are
many more) support the IBM ASI, making the packet driver unnecessary 
(memory consuming!) clutter. Keep it simple.
