[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] Running F-Key Happy Apps via Telnet/Rlogin

tkevans@fallst.UUCP (Tim Evans) (05/23/91)

We're running both PC/TCP and CUTCP and I have users who want to
be able to telnet/rlogin to UNIX/Xenix hosts and run F-key-happy
applications like WordPerfect and have them behave as they do
on the UNIX/Xenix console. Is this possible? If so how?

PC/TCP's tnglass seems to offer some hope, but IBM's ansi.sys
doesn't seem to be the answer. Are there better versions of it?
Where?

Will I need to remap the keyboard in either/both of these
packages? If so, has anyone already done this? Would you
share?

Thanks.
