Does anyone know if the PC7300 has some way of adding a floating-point processor? I used sdb to go through the code for floating-point multiplication, and I found out it does this in software. By the way, the PC7300 is quite fast - significantly faster than AT&T's 3B2, if it weren't for the slow disk it has in it. It also costs half as much as the 3B2. In some cases, the PC7300 approaches the speed of a VAX 11/750. I would be interested to hear anyone's comments on the Unix PC. ----------------------------------------- Samuel A.
