[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] NETDRV.SYS and PCIP

cohen@brodmann.iaf.uiowa.edu (Gregg Cohen) (06/06/91)

I downloaded the PCIP package the other day, and now that my twisted
pair ethernet connections are in, I was wanting to use this for some
of my simplified testing. However, I seem to have run into a missing
file, or just missed the boat in the explanations someplace.
How do I generate or where do I get the NETDRV.SYS that this package
declares isn't started whenever I try to start a ping, finger, or what
ever?
I am using the HPPCLAN.COM packet driver (seems to work fine with
WINQVT) loaded at 0x69.
Sorry for being such a dimwit

oh the card that I am using is the HP Ethertwist 16 bit in
a 25Mhz 386.

Thanks
Gregg
