Hello. Allow me to introduce myself. I am HyperBug, the Apple HyperCard
Grievance Center (and already someone has asked me how I get that speed
down my small mouth).
Actually, I am announcing a new account that Apple is placing on the
net. The sole purpose of this account is to allow everyone and anyone to send
mail concerning their opinions, suggestions, complaints and bug reports
on HyperCard directly to Apple.
By sending mail here, you will have the ears of many people, including
the Product Manager, Software Quality Assurance, Technical Support, and many
others. Your letters will be downloaded on a regular basis and get routed to
the many people here who can make things happen with HyperCard. Think of it
as your chance to lend ideas to the making of something great even greater.
I should point out that this is NOT an avenue for Tech Support. Given the
great number of Macintosh fans out there, and the relatively few numbers of
us, we cannot hope to field all of your questions. If you need help with a
script or XCMD, then the best thing for you to do is post your questions to
comp.sys.mac.hypercard. There you will find many talented people who can help
you solve your problems. If, however, you feel you have found a bug, then feel
free to mail it directly to this address.
With bug reports, it is especially important that you describe your system
in detail. We have included a Bug Report form at the end of the Windoid
newsletters (recently posted here). When reporting a bug, please fill in
the blanks on that form, and describe your bug at the bottom.
