HYPERTALK: THE SCRIPTS - REV 1 Dec 11, 1987 This document describes the contents of HyperTalk: The Scripts Title: The Waite Group's HyperTalk: The Scripts Suggested List: $19.95 Author: Contributed scripts, edited by Mitchell Waite Audience: Programmers, students, professionals, managers. Length: 600 book pages Description of HyperTalk: The Scripts Our new book, "HyperTalk: The Scripts" will contain 101 useful, fun, and instructional scripts that improve and extend the things that HyperTalk can do while teaching scripting at the same time. Each script will be presented in a standard format showing its function, telling how it works, providing tips, extensions, modifications. The book is divided into several categories, and each will have its own HyperStar "featured" author. All the scripts will undergo rigorous testing, editing, and review by The Waite Group to ensure they are of the highest quality. The book will cover tips and traps, scripts for doing navigation, as well as dozens of text-field, button, and menu-related scripts, and more. We will present scripting in easy modules, building progressively as the reader builds skills.
