Description of HyperTalk: The Scripts

Our new book, "HyperTalk: The Scripts" will contain 101 useful, fun, and
instructional scripts that improve and extend the things that HyperTalk
can do while teaching scripting at the same time.

Each script will be presented in a standard format showing its function,
telling how it works, providing tips, extensions, modifications. The book
is divided into several categories, and each will have its own HyperStar
"featured" author. All the scripts will undergo rigorous testing, editing,
and review by The Waite Group to ensure they are of the highest quality.

The book will cover tips and traps, scripts for doing navigation, as well
as dozens of text-field, button, and menu-related scripts, and more. We
will present scripting in easy modules, building progressively as the
reader builds skills. Topics include:

o general scripting tips and traps o card navigation scripts
o text field & button scripts o tool scripts, menu scripts
o sound and digitizing scripts o graphics and animation
o game scripts o educational scripts
