HyperCard does not seem to think that an open parenthesis "(" is the
begining of a word; if you type "is this a (HC) bug" near the end of
a line in a text field (such as the "things to do" stack), hypercard
is perfectly happy to end the line with "(", and put "HC)" on the next
line.
This doesn't seem to happen using plain textedit (at least, it doesn't
happen when using the note pad DA). Also, I haven't tried using other
characters such as quote marks, square brackets, etc. to see if they
will work correctly.
