I wanted hypercard largely for the addressbook and to print mailing labels from that database. When I go to print, I find the Print Dialog Box assumes 3 columns of labels. Does anyone out there know if it is possible to select a single column for printing ( I previously bought several thousand labels, single-column pin-feed) that I want to use. Goodman's book may be a good theoretical text for explaining hypercard, but as a user-friendly manual, it is not. Nowhere do they say anything about configurability of label printing. Is the Print Dialog Box definable by Hypertalk? I'm afraid to say that Hypercard has yet to appeal to me. It is like we were given a conceptual model rather than a workable system.
