Experts, I need some help. I was working on a Hypercard stack of about 160 cards in several backgrounds when I was faced with "Unexpected error 1847". (I'm not sure of the number but that is close to right.) Then HC shut down. Since that error I have a card that can't be read: "Can't read card or background id 30703" It's a card and I even know which one. I can't see how to fix or get around this error. Everytime I get near to the card HC trys to read it ahead and falls over. There is a lot of work in this stack (endless info on cabling and equipping a new building) and I'm not interested in losing it. This is the second time I have had this problem and, as much as I like HC, it's enough to send me back to conventional, but reliable, databases. jh -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ACSnet: hine@vuwcomp.nz Dept. of Computer Science UUCP: ...!uunet!vuwcomp!hine Victoria University Internet: hine@comp.vuw.ac.nz Private Bag, Wellington, NZ
