In the May'88 issue of MacUser, pg 75-88, there is the instructons for a stack named Stack Analyzer. I typed it into a button script and setup a scrolling field as directed, but I can't get the thing to run past a certain "if" statement. I get to the "if" statement before the comment (-- If it's a card say what background it belongs to) but no farther. I figgered that stopping point out by inserting a command (Put "Here") in various places and the message (Here) wouldn't come up after that point in the script when I ran it. I also noted that when HC detected the faulty if statement and I chose to look at the script from the dialog box, that the cursor appeared at the very start of the script which wasn't even an if statement but a comment line(-- blankety blank)!!! Has anyone else tried this script out? Any luck? Please send me your e-mail responses with any help you can offer.(Please try running the script too). Thanks. -Eric.
