Is there anything such as a HyperCard registry, where people who have written stacks describe and register their creations? It's quite a pain to have to search through public domain catalogs, file listings, mac magazines, and disks to determine if a HyperCard concept has been implemented or not. Even worse, when you are in the middle of a million hour stack to develop something you need, and almost have everything done after sweating it out... You'll find someone has already made one that does what you want. Even a partial HyperCard stack register would help to say what NOT to do... If there were one, it would cut down on the million of duplicate FINDER replacements, etc. It is depressing to work for hours on a stack to find someone else has beat you to the public.
