I have tried to use the "Export text" button of HC 1.1 and 1.21 to export the text from the README stack (whatever it was called) that came with HC1.21. I just want hard copy of all the good stuff that explains HC1.21. Well, Exporting text from background 1 (if I remember rightly) went OK, and I got it into my WP, formatted it nicely, and printed it successfully. Trying to export for the next background, the one that deals with new HyperTalk commands, caused an out of memory (or "too much recursion", I forget which), and crapped out. I have a 1MB SE, Font/DA Juggler, Moire, ToMultiFinder, a Startup screen, SoundMaster, and System 6.0. It fails with Finder; I haven't even tried MF with HyperCard. Why does it fail? How can I correct it? Does anyone have a nice text file containing the contents of all those scrolling fields in the stack? Thank you Scott Bayes Not to mention the irony of the Export Text button not being able to export the text of the stack it's supplied in!?! I won't mention that.
