I'm sorry to repeat something that has probably been asked before..... I am having troubles getting my phone stack to dial numbers. Whatever I tell it to dial (e.g. "dial "3446824" with modem, etc), the receiver never goes off-hook. I have tried prepending "ATDT" / "+++ATDT" in all sorts of ways with no effect. I can see the data going to the modem (on the modem lights), and the modem responds, but nothing happens. Hypercard is putting my 2400-baud modem in 1200-baud mode, for some reason. For long distance, my goal is to dial MCI (950-1022, 0<number>, <password>). I don't really use it for local dialing. Can someone tell me how to make my phone stack dial? Please respond via e-mail. A somewhat related question: how do you make the phone stack output the tones corresponding to '#' and '*'? Simply using those characters doesn't do the trick. * Scott Robert Anderson * ** gatech!emoryu1!phssra * * * ** phssra@emoryu1.{bitnet,csnet} * * * * * ** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
