I have been trying unsuccessfully to add my own ICONs to my HyperCard stacks for use with icon buttons. I have several nice utilities & DAs that edit/grab icons, but they all save them as ICN# resources, while HyperCard apparently only recognizes ICONs. Is it possible to use ICN#s with HyperCard? (I would tend to doubt it...) Are there any utility programs that will take one icon out of an ICN# resource and give it its own ICON resource? I have utilities that will create ICONs from scratch, but I would really rather import them directly, if at all possible. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Greg Anderson Social Sciences Computing University of California, Santa Cruz email: sirkm@ssyx.ucsc.edu BBS: (408) 462-3832 2400/1200/300 baud

(I would tend to doubt it...) Try using the DA called IconMaker or using ResEdit. They both produce ICONs. And you are right, HyperCard can NOT use ICN#s. Dan Allen Apple Computer
