I have a rather large reference list of all the papers I have
read stored in a troff file on a Sun. My reference list includes
the actual reference as well as keywords, a short summary of the
paper, as well as "references"/pointers to previous or related
works.
I would like to transfer this entire list into HyperCard on a
Mac SE, i.e.: transfer each entry to a separate card and fill
all the fields apropriatly (ref, keywords, summary, etc.) and
possibly provide links to the related works. Fonts etc are not
important at this point.
Then later, I would like to select all the references (but not
the additional info) from a given list, format it, and append
(or include) it to an MSWord file.
The main problem right now is how to get the info xfered into
Hcard (I know how to get the file into the Mac, formatted or not).
My ever growing list is about 150 entries large, and right now I
don't have the time to spend 2 weeks futsing
around with this.
I am a total novice with HCard, and therefore I was wondering
if any of you have ever attempted anything like this, and
how you did it, where I should look for more info, etc.
