Well, since absolutely no one has responded to my request for opinions about the different HyperCard books available, I guess I won't be posting a list of the goood, bad, and ugly as I had hoped. However, I should mention that of the 5 or 6 books I have looked at, I am most impressed with "Using HyperCard: From Home to HyperTalk" from Que. This is another in Que's excellent Using... series, written by a large number of HyperCard experts. They have attempted to create a book that is understandeable for beginners, yet detailed enough for experts. Amazingly enough, they have actually succeeded. If you're looking for a good overall introduction/tutorial/reference, I suggest you check this thing out. (The listed author is Tay Vaughn, ISBN is 0-88022-340-5.)
