Greeting, I recently downloaded Chris Christensen's HyperLabeler1.2, And I liked it. However, I have problem with generating a postscript output file for the labels. I guess the problem has to do with the XCMD resource PRINTRECT (Chris Christensen, )1987), which does a screen dumping of a portion of the scree. Could anyone help me with this? When I click the Print Label button and holding down the F key, I do get a message box saying "generating postscript file" and it does indeed create a file named postscript0. However, this postscript file only contains some header information, not the picture (I include one as an example). Is it the feature of screen dumping itself, or just a matter of how the XCMD printrect is written? Any cure for this? Thank you for your help and comments. --- Kang Sun sun@yalevms.bitnet sun@venus.ycc.yale.edu

I suspect you are correct about the printrect XCMD. Does anyone have a fragment of code (LSC preferably) that does a screen dump to a postscript printer? Chris Christensen P.S. Just out of curiosity, where did you find HyperLabeler?

Chris, Was the AHUG PD disk the only place that you uploaded your stack?? Get the feeling this might be like dropping a message in a bottle into the ocean?? TeriAnn

Here it goes again. I FTPed this stack from SUMEX-AIM.STANFORD.EDU under the directory INFO-MAC. I also found it on YaleVM as well. -- Kang Sun
