I got more information about the Annual HyperCard Buyers' Guide. The HyperCard Buyers' Guide will include all HyperCard related products: stackware, tutorial, XCMD and XFNC collections, books, charts, etc. Shareware and public domain are welcome if the author is willing to send the stackware out upon the receit of the payment from the readers. The following is a list of detailed info: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The first Annual HyperCard Buyers' Guide will be published and distributed in January 1989. It will be released in both stack and paperback formats. All developers are invited to participate and have their product information included in the buyers' guide. The buyers' guide will be publicized in MACWORLD, MacUser, and other leading Macintosh magazines. It will also appear in magazine stands and book stores. There is no charge for putting your product information in the buyers' guide. The bottom line is that it's free publicity and free advertising for HyperCard developers. Here is what you need to submit: 1 Product name, company/your name, address, phone 2 A 200 word description of the product saved in MacWrite or Word format (Indicate commercial, shareware, public domain, or others) 3 Four screen-dumps from your stackware, saved in MacPaint format 4 Information on prices and how to order, saved in MacWrite or MS Word format 5 A longer product description if necessary (optional) Send product information to: Digital Media Publications, Inc. Attn: Annual HyperCard Buyers' Guide MIT Branch P.O. Box 315 Cambridge, MA 02139 For more info, write to DM Publications. To let other HyperCard developers know about this news and enjoy the benefit, please post this note on your local BBS. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I hope the above info would be useful to some HyperCard developers.
