[comp.sys.mac.hypercard] Need help dialing

I'm using a ARK 24K modem that's mostly Hayes compatible.  It works
with Red Ryder, and such, but the phone stack completely fails to
work with it.

My first guess is that the baud rate is the problem... the Mac may
be trying to send the AT stuff at 1200 baud and the modem is listening
at 2400 so nothing happens.

I have looked and looked and I cannot find any piece of hypercard
documentation that shows how it picks a baud rate.  Is this a
constant for hypercard, or what???

Any help would be appreciated.
