[comp.sys.mac.hypercard] IP Protocol XCMDs

stephen@uowcsa.cs.uow.oz (Stephen Nicholson) (03/21/89)

Does anyone out there have some XCMDs for using IP protocols across an
Ethernet. We are currently putting together a 3rd year software project
to access a library system using Hypyrcard.

We would be extremely grateful if any one has such XCMDs and is willing
to 'share' them with us, or put us onto someone who has such beasties.

If this is not possible, then are there some common serial port XCMDs we
could get?

Thanks in advance...

				Stephen

I tried sending you this response over Email, but, for some reason,
It would not work...

I am currently working on XCMDs which work over the TCP/IP
protocals. I may eventually create some XCMDs to work specifically
with FTP. The easiest way to create XCMDs specifally for your
application is probably to write them yourself. There is a program
called NCSA Telnet which has a complete set of TCP/IP routines. This
program is written in MPW C, and is public domain. I used the code
from that program to create my XCMDs. I can get you more information
if you are interested.
