Hi, I'm looking to see if there is interest in a news group which is concerned with HyperText/Media projects. This group would not be concerned with hardware or software problems but with human design and use considerations. I don't see this group as directly associated with any particular hardware or software implementation. I do see the group as similar to the IBM Issac bboard which has abstracts and information on technology and education with IBM equipment. Presently the comp.sys.hypercard group seems to discuss mainly program problems and the alt.hypertext doesn't discuss much of anything. I'd also suggest that this group be moderated. I would like to see postings of abstracts about projects , discussion , and a monthly email address update of designers involved in the projects. The addresses should also have some associated index of interests. Any suggestions or comments? Please post all comments and mail copies to me at thom@dewey.soe.berkeley.edu Thanks. Thom Gillespie

I'm very interested in taking part and reading this news group. As a hyperteam member and founder of Silicon Media Solutions I would be willing to direct much related news to this news group. Also, this is the up and coming technology of the 90's, and will be heralded as the way to integrate multiple forms of information. HyperCard Team, Apple Computer Inc.
