Here's a great package that everyone can use.
PDQPlus gives you Hypertext and Hyperlink type access to TEXT and
GRAPHICS reference and help files. A small resident program
(39K RAM) retrieves both text and graphic information from
discbased reference files. Reference files can be as large as
available disk space.
For program developers PDQPlus includes a runtime module. PDQPRun
simplifies writing help for your application since it allows it to
be written independent of the application. There is also an
interface module (DBPDQ) for FoxBase and Ashton Tate's dBASE which
allows you to issue commands to PDQPRun that will retrieve and
display help text. Other modules are also available, up request,
for "C", FORTRAN, BASIC, and PASCAL.
PDQPlus is NOT JUST FOR PROGRAMMERS! PDQPlus is for anyone who
needs on-line help and instant access to reference information eve
from within running applications.
PDQFAR (PDQ Federal Acquisition Regulation(FAR)) is the first in
a series of Hypertext - type Government Regulations designed to
answer this growing need giving you INSTANT access to the FAR.

You can obtain instant help -- just pop-up PDQFAR and either:
- select from a menu of keywords;
- pick a keyword (FAR paragraph number) right off screen,
from within your application (e.g. on-line CBD);
- search the FAR for occurrences of a word or phrase;
- select a topic from one of the various indexes
