I am developing an application with the Macintosh version of Oracle, which can use HyperCard for the user interface. Unfortunately, my stack script has reached the (apparently) 32,000 character limit on stack lengths. Has anybody else had this problem? How did you solve it? Also, I was wondering what other people thought of this HyperCard/Oracle system. Am I the only one having problems with response time? I've run the system on a Mac II and an SE, and using it on an SE (with 2.5 MB of RAM) seems impractical. On a Mac II, it's still pretty slow. Does anybody have any suggestions for speeding it up (aside from not using the HyperCard interface)? Any general MacOracle advice?
