i created a stack about 218K in size. however whenever i try to: a) Compact the stack, or b) add a new card i get a message 'Unexpected Error 1777'. what does this error mean? how can i find out and fix this problem? help!! also, as a consequence of (a) above a stack of size 0K was created by HyperCard called HyperTemp1. presumably this would be deleted upon successful compaction. but now i can't get rid of it from my hard disk. whenever i try to drag it to trash it tells me that it's in use and cannot be removed. Any help/advice would be VERY gratefully appreciated. sriram
