After re-reading my message above I realized I left out a bit... At the part where I say it is "naughty" change the userlevel I meant to continue it with the final remark "if you don't set it back to what it was before your stack changed it. (i.e., Your stack should save the userlevel it finds when opening and then restore it upon exiting)." Changing the userlevel in and of itself isn't inherently good or bad, but not cleaning up after yourself is impolite to say the least...
