I hate to burst anybody's bubble, but since Hypercard 2.0 does not yet exist, and has not been officially announced, it may be unwise to assume that it will EVER appear. When Plus and Supercard were still vaporware, someone at Apple suggested in this newsgroup that Hypercard 2.0 would not only appear, but would answer most of our wildest dreams. I haven't heard anything about this wonderful product after the release of Supercard or the preliminary announcement of system 7.0. I am inclined to believe that Hypercard technology will live on in future versions of the Macintosh system, but I have to remain skeptical that a radically improved version of Hypercard will appear any time soon. If you can't use it, it ain't there. jking disclaimer: I have NO connections with Apple Computer at all, and my pessimism may reflect more on the fact that I don't have time to wait for vapor to condense than to any objective reasons why Hypercard 2.0 shouldn't appear.

They wouldn't talk a lot about it (the typical "proprietary" answer), but they did leave me to believe that an upgrade will eventually come out.
