There ispop-up menu xcmd which works with hypercard, but I don't know about any hierarchical menu xcmds.. It would take some fancy rigging I Imagine. I don't use SC (it's to slow!), but the following things works with HC, don't know if there could be any troubles with SC. There are at least two hier popupmenus: by John Pugh (ftp to sumex) and by Guy de Picciotto (dev stack 1.2 (ftp to ssyx, the home of HyperUnix)). There is also a hier _menubar_ XFCN written by Greg King in his "Menu Manager"- stack. (I found it on BMUGs PD-ROM).

That means that although HyperUnix is still available, I'm cannot offer the developer's stack or other fine software. I think that the current policy is petty and unnecessary, but it's the University's computer, and they can use (or not use) the disk space as they see fit.
