Hello I have just started really playing with hypercard and I ran into a bottleneck. What I am trying to do is within a card I have several text fields. When one presses tab the cursor moves from field to field. This is great but what I want to know is whether or not there is a cmd or fnctn that allows one to tell which field one is in when one tabs. I could actually count the tabs and know the order that the fields are set in but I also want to allow the user to mouse click within a field which would mess up my counting of tabs. I can think of a "hack" for doing this but is there any clean and neat way of doing this? Thank you Gordon
