I'm building a stack which converts a file with BinHex4, sends it to UNIX host using MacTCP and SMTP, as well as receives mail from UNIX host using POP2, converts it again and saves to a file. That is, an easy-to-use HyperCard application for sending and receiving files via UNIX mail. To get things work smoothly and to hide the technical "dirty" part of this procedure, I need to implement BinHex4 or similar to my stack as a resource ("open binhex4" doesn't help much). Anyone done this before? Where can I find the source code? BinHex4 is shareware. Has anyone experiences using shareware code in one's own application? How is it done legally? Is it possible? BTW: BinHex5 uses nulls, which prevents it being used (HyperCard uses nulls as string terminators). This is the fourth time I try to post this article. None of the previous ones has succeeded yet. So, I'm sorry if I disturbed some parts of the net by multiple postings.. -- :::: Arto Kojo :::::::::::::::::::::: Helsinki University of Technology :::: :: TKK/TKO-lab/Y227 ako@hutcs.hut.fi :: :: 02150 ESPOO FINLAND s29808u@puukko.hut.fi :: :::: tel: +358-0-4513236 :::::::::::: akojo@otax.tky.hut.fi ::::::::::::::::
