For the HyperCard people at Apple, please include in HyperCard (HC) 2.0, an XFCN or XCMD that allows you to password protect a background, or portion of the stack. Also, please improve the reporting features so that I could program into a script something like this on mouseUp doMenu "Print Report..." background (or card) fields x y z end mouseUp This way I can have certain reports automatically generated for the user instead of having to tell them in the instructions to shift-click and select certain fields (which is user-hostile and increase the chance for user errors). Please put these features into HC 2.0! Thanks. Jim Collymore p.s. Also include a feature so that I can restrict and control where a "find" searches for its pattern.

I thought that was already in HyperTalk! <grin> Yes, here it is... "FIND expression [IN FIELD fieldDesignator]". It was there all along! <grin> I've also looked for that a few times, until I finally broke down and bought the HT Script Language Guide (not a bad deal!). -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Glenn L.
