Some problems with hypercard - if the development team is monitoring this group ? Here are some problems that I've found with hypercard. First - I would like to thank apple for including hypercard with the Mac at no extra charge - its really great and I think more of the industry should take note!!! 1) speed - one of the most obvious - needs a compiler for its scripts. 2) printing reports - seriously needs font control not just Geneva 9 pt. 3) search strings. If I do a find command and give it a search string, it finds the card with the matching field. However if I try to find the next card (or field) that matches this string - It reverts to current card and current found field. Is there any way besides moving to next card to get the search to continue starting at next field or card? Also it would be great if you could specify what field you only want to qualify searches for. 4) scrollable cards - like supercard has, so that you can have more fields on a card than one screens worth. any comments/hints on these topics would be appreciated.
