I work on a NASA project in which I am creating a HyperCard reference to the Space Station Freedom. My superiors have made it very clear to me that because IBM PC's are standard equipment in the space program and Macs have not yet gained much support in the higher ranks, all my work in HyperCard is but a preliminary assessment of what can be done - when the *real* work begins, it will all be done on the IBM PC. I have told them many times that there doesn't *exist* anything on the PC that can do all the things that HyperCard can do, but my words fell on deaf ears. Then Plus came along. Plus is a HyperCard clone by Olduvai whose only redeeming factor is that it is supposedly crosscompatible with Plus by Spinnaker for the IBM. The Mac version of Plus was quickly obtained, and I leveled with everyone: in order to convert my project to Plus for eventual porting to the IBM, much functionality would probably have to be dropped, and the program itself would only be as robust as the application Plus is (not very). My question is: Has anyone had any experience with Plus on either machine? Can anyone give me any suggestions on any routes to take with PC hypertext if I can't knock some sense into my boss? << Brian >> -- | Brian S.
