Hi ho... I'm looking for a utility that will allow me to automatically translate a group of files from MacDraw II format to PICTs (MacDraw I -> PICT would be fine). This utility would be called from within Hypercard, so something along the lines of DrawToPict(<pathname>) would be optimal. I'm aware of the possibility of using a macro and opening MacDraw automatically, but the macro programs are so flaky I'd rather avoid them if possible. First, does anyone know of anything like this existing? If so, PLEASE let me know. Second, if anybody knows the file formats so that I could perhaps write the XFCN or utility myself, that would be more-than-welcome information. I'm Pascal, C, and toolbox able, so long as I've got my trusty IM next to me. Please email, since I have an ugly presentation to give and won't have time in the near future to scan over the newsfeed.
