Several months ago, I moved my Focal Point stacks (the original versions) over to SuperCard. (Not without a good deal of work.) In general, I've been very pleased with SuperCard, and am now using it as a complete replacement to HyperCard; however, there is one feature which I haven't been able to duplicate in SuperCard for my address stacks. In HyperCard, when you "Print Report...", you're able to choose fields you want printed, and the width of the column for that field. SuperCard is almost exactly the same (via it's Print project), except for one difference: In HyperCard, if you have multiple lines of text in the field (i.e. each line ended with a carriage return/linefeed/whatever), every one of the lines is printed up -- thus, the vertical height of your entry is dependent on the number of lines of text in the field. In SuperCard, only the first line is printed; thus, each entry has the same vertical height, but some of the information that used to get printed out in my HyperCard reports (like multiple phone numbers) is missing. Anyone know how to fix this, so that it prints reports like HyperCard? Or, alternatively, when SuperCard 1.5 is going to be released? MacWeek was rumoring it would be very soon a few weeks ago; Charlie Jackson showed up with Paul Brainerd (of Aldus) at the Seattle Mac dBUG meeting Wednesday night, but wouldn't say anything about release dates for SuperCard. (Some things never change. :-) ) I suspect one of the SuperCard books might have the info, but I thought I'd check here first. Any help appreciated...
