I am having a problem with a Hypercard stack that I built. The problem is that my cursor times out within 25 - 50 seconds REGARDLESS of whether I am typing or not. Does anyone know if there is some default setting which I may have inadvertantly set? Thank you....stuart liroff

Hello again, Sorry to bother you guys again, but I had a woman come to me with a strange hypercard problem. She designed a stack that would open an MS Word file and read part of it into a field. Her commands all sound good and correct, but the behavior is odd to say the least. When she was initially designing the stack, she was working with a test case/sample of a file. After the stack seemed to be working she deleted the file and changed the name to the correct name of the file she wished to read in. Despite changing the name and the file being deleted from the mac, Hypercard continues to read in the same data that was in the test case! Very bizzare indeed. She has tried rebooting, and it has no affect. Anybody else out there ever encounter this problem?
