I like to learn from others' ideas. However, I'm afraid you're way ahead of me. I'm having trouble figuring out what you're doing. You sent me 2 stacks. The first is a list of names in a scrolling field. When you click near a name a message box comes up and says there are no matches found. I suppose that if there were a card or cards with the name on it it would go to it (right ?). The other one is called Nippon Lab Inventory and it has an error while idling and the message box says it doesn't understand the script just after an 'inkey' command. I do not know enough (yet) to understand just what this stack is doing. I hope this is what you wanted to know. I am presently taking a class at a local university on Hypercard, so any help or examples you can provide will help me. Thanks. Let me know if there is a script fix for the Nippon stack and any thing you care to tell this novice HC scriptor.
