(I tried to reply, but the path bounced) There was a question about odd-shaped buttons. In "Tricks of the Hypertalk Masters" by the Waite Group, there is a script that makes buttons with the poly tool.

I know it's never good to put things this way, but: since I don't have time to read this newsgroup very often, could people email me with any replies, unless they feel that there are other users who would also be interested? (Thanks in advance.) What I would like is some public-domain or shareware hypercard stack which has a map of the world on one card, click in a country and some info comes up and a map of that country, click in a state and more info comes up. But we would like to put in our own info. I'd do it myself, but I feel that in Hypercard one can't do odd-shaped buttons, eg the shape of finland or alaska? Is that true or not (Hypercard 1.2.5)? It sounds a bit like Focal Point or is it Business Class from Central Point Software (? is that right). Anyway, anyone who has done such a thing, has good ideas on how it should be done, or knows where I can get a copy of such a thing, I would like to hear from. ************************************************************************* Phil Ryan * No matter where DSTO Cadet Research Student * you go...
