I am having problems with MacroMind Player from within SuperCard. The documentation
for MacroMind Player is terrible and MacroMind says they don't support SuperCard.
I need to play small color movies on top of a color SuperCard screen.
I am having problems with the colors on the SuperCard screen changing while
the movie is playing. This only happens the FIRST time any movie is played
after startup
Once the movie is finished playing it leaves a white box on the screen for
about a second. (This box is similar to the one left when a dialog box is closed
and it takes a while for the screen to update.) It doesn't happen with every
movie but I can't determine the critical factors. The white box can be made
to go away faster by updating the screen with a "Go this Card". Putting a transparent
button under the area where the movie plays and setting and unsetting the hilight
of the button works even better but the white flash detracts from the illusion
generated by the movie.
Has anyone found the magic parameters to avoid these problems.
