I am trying to decide between using HyperCard and SuperCard for a new
project. The problem is that both products are going to come out in a new
version in few weeks, and I have to evaluate them using the available
information (product announcement from Silicon Beach about SC and rumors
(MacWeek etc.) about HyperCard 2.0).
Meanwhile I found the followings:
Main advantages of SC 1.5 over HC 2.0:
Color
Object drawing
Scorllable windows
(maybe) Larger windows
Dozens of small features
Main advantages of HC 2.0 over SC 1.5:
Speed (probably much faster than SC when compiled)
Hypertext (sticky buttons/active text)
Multifinder Background support
Can other people please comment about the two products or send any
information that may be useful for deciding between the two?
